I THINK I’VE JUST HAD MY FIRST REVIEW…!

A writer friend sent me a text today and it read; ‘You’re in The Bookseller today!’
Me: Um… WHAT??
Now, The Bookseller is a trade press for the book industry and I asked her to elaborate; APPARENTLY IT’S A REVIEW…!!!!
OF MY BOOK!!!!
“But it’s not out until July!” I hear you rightly, cry.

So I think I got ‘it’ back…
… ‘It’ being the urge to write. I had a good talk with my agent today and I explained the story of my new book to her and it felt right and I got all excited about it again and I really want to write and I’m quite excited and It’s all doable again and the structure is back and oh I’m babbling. So this weekend… Must. Write.

Just four months to go…
… until publication date.I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone. This is really going to happen. And soon.In the meantime, I have been ‘hard at work’ on the new book. Not. Since the first, mad adrenalin rush infused writing frenzy of last month, I seemed to have simmered down on the writing front. The motivation could be better… I’m just hoping to snap out of it anytime soon. Perhaps I should chuck the Sky Plus down the chute, shred the glossy Magazines, crush the mobile phone, stamp on the computer… Then I might be able to get some writing done…Oh, but don’t I need the computer to write…?
