Had already read the Times on Saturday so was looking for something else to keep me occupied at the hairdresses ... can\\\'t be listening to all that drivel. So, popped into the bookshop, looked at new arrivals and bought yours. Hadn\\\'t heard of you or the book. It was the photo that did it. Reminded me of my sister-in-law. Anyway ... loved it, loved it, loved it. Well done and can\\\'t wait for your next book. All the best

I am a budding author and have just read your blog from 2002 to 2006 - need a bit of a rest now. How determind are you though to have carried on. Good for you Lola, incidentally that happens to be the name of my lead character, what a coincidence, perhaps that will be a good sign for me???

Hi Lola,
Just wanted to say I bought \"by the time you read this\" yesterday, have just finished it and am now still sobbing away 20 minutes after the end! I loved the words a dad wrote to his little girl, knowing he would never see her grow up, the words of advice and wisdom only a daddy can say. Thankyou!
