The copy edits for Being Lara… are on the way over to the UK from the US of A!!

As my editor explained, the ‘corrections;’ are basically to ‘Americanize’ the writings.  

Hurry, hurry, hurry!!

    Hi Lola!
    Do u remember the email that you got from Ms. Jo’s Grade 4/5 class? Well, this is Daniel, 10 years old, sending you a personal email!
    I just wanted to say, I am a little like you. I want to be an author and your book “Reaching for the Stars inspired me even more. The way nothing worked out for a while and then you got an agent and finally Harper Collins came along. Your books got published.Do you think i could make it? Do you really think I could write a book that would be published like yours? I really hope my story of becoming an author turns out like yours.

      YOU can do anything you set your mind to. Hard work goes a long way, but so does faith in everything you do. The fact that at 10 years old, you are already thinking like this, means you are well on your way. Keep going, stay in school and work hard. Never be afraid to follow your dreams!!
